Markus is a senior global investment leader and entrepreneur with a focus on sustainability, new business models, and hard science. Currently the Managing Director of BASF Venture Capital GmbH, he was previously a partner in the Frankfurt office of Mandarin Capital Partners. Prior to this he co-founded Baigo Capital, a healthcare-focused growth capital fund. Markus studied business administration at the European Business School in Wiesbaden, Germany, as well as in Dijon, France and Phoenix, USA.
